I just signed up for a Darby Girl membership! What will I receive?
Every other month, Darby Girl sends you a box that includes everything you need to make that month’s awesome DIY project. Your box will include: all the craft supplies you need, step-by-step instructions and inspirational project photos. When you’re done with your project, you can go online and share a photo of your version!
What are some examples of Darby Girl DIY Projects?
Each DIY project is designed with the Girls' Life reader in mind. For example, a Darby Girl box may include everything you need to make a tie dye photo board, embellished hair accessories or customize your own tote.
Is Darby Girl available outside of the U.S.?
Darby Girl is only available in the US right now but we hope to move to your country soon.
Are there any hidden fees?
None at all. Shipping is on us and taxes, where relevant, are included.
When will I be billed for the recurring membership?
When you join Darby Girl, you will be billed for your first Darby Girl box immediately. Thereafter, you will be billed on the 1st day of the month of each box’s shipment month. For specific shipment months, see our shipping section below.
How do I update my billing?
It’s easy to update billing! Just shoot us a note to hello@darbysmart.com and let us know you would like to update your billing info.
If I got Darby Girl as a gift membership, what happens when I reach my last box?
If you have a gift membership, your membership will expire after you’ve received the number of boxes you were given as a gift member. We’ll send you an email and let you know that your membership is about to expire. You’ll have the chance to update your billing information, stay on as a Darby Girl member and continue to receive your project boxes. You can always ask how many boxes you have left in your gift membership by writing us at hello@darbysmart.com
What is your cancellation policy?
If you are a Darby Girl recurring member, you can cancel anytime you like. We never charge you a cancellation fee though we are always sad to see you go. To cancel, simply write us at hello@darbysmart.com and let us know that you would like to discontinue your membership. Make sure you email your cancellation request before 12A.M. Pacific Standard Time on the DAY BEFORE the billing cycle. If you choose to cancel on the day of or after that billing cycle, you will still receive your Darby Girl box for the month and your cancellation will take effect ahead of the next billing cycle.
When will I receive my first Darby Girl box?
Darby Girl ships on or around the 15th of every other month. The December Darby Girl box shipped December 16th, 2014. The next Darby Girl boxes ship on February 19th, April 15th, June 17th, August 18th, October 15th and December 17th of 2015. If you join in an off cycle month, you will receive your starter box within 20 days after joining.
What if I want to change my address?
To change your address, send an email to hello@darbysmart.com and tell us your new address.
